Our Returns Policy

We hope you love your Greenes Shoes purchase, if you are unhappy with your goods please find below information on our returns policy.  

We are happy to offer a refund for your item when it is returned to us within 14 days. Goods can also be returned for a credit note within 28 days.

Please see below guidance for returning items from the UK.

All items must be returned to us in their original packaging in a clean, re-saleable condition.

The customer is responsible for their return package until it reaches our head office, your refund cannot be processed until it is received into our returns department. 

Please note: There may be a few days delay in the processing of online returns as extra health and safety precautions are followed. Please allow 1 week from returning your order to receive notification of your refund.

  • We do not offer free returns, a charge of €4.99 will be deducted from your refund for the cost of your return if you return your item with our shipping partners DPD.

         Items returned through An Post are at the customers own cost.

  • Sale Items: We offer no return/exchange on items in our final clearance on items priced at €10 and under.
  • Returns can be made via DPD or your local Post Office, please find more information below. 
  • Please include your dispatch invoice with returns as we need this to process your refund.


DPD - Returning from Ireland and Northern Ireland

We have teamed up with DPD to bring added convenience to returning your items. You can find all instructions of this on the back of your invoice or follow the steps below. 

All orders nationwide can be returned through DPD by following the simple steps below: Please use this option when returning suspected faulty goods to us.

  1.  To return your unwanted item, please log on to , select PICK UP, then select RETURNS and CONTINUE AS A GUEST.
  2. . Fill out the returns section in order to download your returns label. The reference number is your order number
  3. Print your returns label and attach the label to your returns package.
  4. Drop off your package to any one of the DPD pickup points which are located across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Click here to find the location most convenient to you. On dropping off your parcel you will receive a receipt. It is important to keep your receipt as proof of return until you have received confirmation of your refund 


An Post - For all other areas

You can also choose to return your items to us through your local post office or courier service which ever is most convenient to you. The cost of these returns are incurred by the customer. We recommend that you use a method of postage that includes a tracking system. 

Please note, due to Brexit UK returns may incur extra return costs including import fees and customs. These costs are the responsibility of the person returning the goods.

Instore Returns

You can also return your online order to any of our six store locations in Donegal, Galway or Limerick. A full refund is then processed through our head office


We ask customers that need a change of size/product to return their order to us for a refund and place a new order for their new size online.  

This will help us provide a faster and more efficient service to our customers. We thank you for your understanding.


Our Returns Guidelines

We want you to be happy with every purchase you make. Accordingly, you may inspect the items you buy as if you were in one of our stores. While you are deciding to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore please do not damage the items whilst you inspect them or try them on for size. You must ensure goods returned are unworn and repacked in the original box.

It is our policy to return any item(s) to the purchaser if we suspect they show signs of wear or are marked/damaged. 

If the product is defective, please report it to us at hello@greenesshoes,com and we will arrange a collection to have it returned to us and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product, and if applicable the original delivery cost. Any breakages, damages, faults or missing items should be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing

If you are returning goods to us that you suspect are faulty, we ask that they are in a clean, sanitary condition for our staff to handle.

Our office opening hours are 8.30am to 5pm  Monday - Friday.
