Our Returns Policy

We hope you love your recent purchase from us here at Greenes Shoes. If you find you need to return your item, you can do so. We are happy to offer you a refund to your original payment method within the cancellation period of 14 days from the day your goods are delivered. We offer the right to cancel and refund your order when your order is received back to our warehouse or returned in-store, no later than 14 days from when you let us know of your decision to return.

We are also happy to accept items back after this time frame, within 28 days from the date you received your order, for store credit.

All items must be returned to us in their original packaging, undamaged and in a clean, re-saleable condition.

The customer is responsible for their return package until it reaches our head office, your refund cannot be processed until it is received into our returns department. 

  • We do not offer free returns, a charge of €4.99 will be deducted from your refund for the cost of your return if you return your item with our nationwide shipping partners drop2shop or DPD. Items returned through An Post are at the customers own cost.
  • Returns within Ireland can be made via drop2shop, DPD or your local Post Office, please find more information below. 
  • We kindly ask that you enclose your dispatch invoice with your return as we need this to process your refund.
  • Please make sure your items are well and securely packaged. Shoe boxes should be put in a returns bag, we recommend reusing the bag your order arrived in. Please do not tape around the box as this destroys the shoes original packaging.
  • Attach your DPD label to the front of your parcel. If returning more than one item, please make sure they are packaged within the same bag/box. If they are in separate packaging, we recommend placing a label on each parcel. We would not recommenced taping them together as parcels may come apart during transit, leading to your items becoming lost.

We are partnered with drop2shop to provide you with a no hassle returns process with no printer required. This service is at a charge of €4.99 which is deducted from your refund.

DPD - Returning from Ireland and Northern Ireland - PRINTER REQUIRED

We have teamed up with DPD to bring added convenience to returning your items. You can find all instructions of this in the card included with your purchase or follow the steps below. The cost of this service is €4.99 which is deducted from your refund.

All orders delivered within Ireland and Northern Ireland can be returned through DPD by following the simple steps below:

  1. To return your unwanted item, please log on to www.dpd.ie, select PICK UP, then select RETURNS and CONTINUE AS A GUEST.
  2. Fill out the returns section to download your returns label. The reference number is your order number.
  3. Print your returns label and attach the label to your returns package.
  4. Drop off your package to any one of the DPD pickup points which are located across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Click here to find the location most convenient to you. On dropping off your parcel you will receive a receipt. It is important to keep your receipt as proof of return until you have received confirmation of your refund.

You can also post your returns back at your own cost with An Post or any other courier service.

Once your return is received back, a refund is processed to the original payment method for all qualifying returns. This will then appear in your account within 7 workings days depending on your bank.

For faulty returns please use our drop2shop or DPD option above, whichever is most convenient for you.

Return your order instore

Your can choose to return your online order to any of our six store locations in Donegal, Galway or Limerick for a refund or exchange for another item. All refunds are processed through our head office to your original payment method. 

Returns from outside of Ireland

You can also choose to return your items to us through your local postal or courier service whichever is most convenient to you. The cost of these returns is incurred by the customer. We recommend that you use a method of postage that includes a tracking system as returns are the responsibility of the customer until we receive them back in our warehouse.

Please note, due to Brexit UK returns may incur extra return costs including import fees and customs. These costs are the responsibility of the person returning the goods.

Our Returns Guidelines

We want you to be happy with every purchase you make. Accordingly, you may inspect and try on the items you buy as if you were in one of our stores to make sure they are the perfect fit and sizing for your feet. While you are deciding to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please do not damage the items whilst you inspect them or try them on for size. You must ensure goods returned are unworn and repacked in the original box.

It is our policy to return any item(s) to the purchaser if we suspect they show signs of wear or are marked/damaged.

If the product is defective, please report it to us at hello@greenesshoes,com. We will provide you with the details on how to return your item for inspection. We do our best to provide a solution to any issues our customers may have. If you are returning goods to us that you suspect are faulty, we ask that they are in a clean, sanitary condition for our staff to handle.

Any breakages, damages, faults or missing items should be reported to us within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time by emailing hello@greenesshoes.com
